In her own words - Danielle

Some people don’t just work in care. They live it. Danielle is one of those people. Her story is full of the moments that remind us why care matters. The gentle persistence that helps someone feel comfortable again. The joy of discovering how music can lift a person’s spirits. The simple act of making someone smile because you took the time to understand what they need.

Danielle has been part of Care in the Vale since she was eighteen. In five years she has learned what it means to make a real difference. Compassion. Dignity. Teamwork. Laughter. And the belief that even the smallest gesture can change someone’s day.

This is the final video in this year’s My Story campaign. Danielle’s journey is the perfect way to close it. Honest. Warm. Human. This is Danielle’s story, in her own words.



Mae rhai pobl yn gwneud mwy na gweithio mewn gofal. Maen nhw’n ei fyw. Mae stori Danielle yn llawn yr eiliadau sy’n ein hatgoffa pam mae gofal yn bwysig. Y dyfalbarhad caredig sy’n helpu rhywun i deimlo’n gyfforddus eto. Y llawenydd o ddarganfod sut gall cerddoriaeth godi hwyliau rhywun. Y weithred syml o wneud i rywun wenu oherwydd i chi gymryd yr amser i ddeall beth sydd ei angen arnynt.

Mae Danielle wedi bod yn rhan o Care in the Vale ers oedd hi’n ddeunaw. Mewn pum mlynedd mae hi wedi dysgu beth mae’n ei olygu i wneud gwahaniaeth go iawn. Tosturi. Urddas. Tîmwaith. Chwerthin. A’r gred bod hyd yn oed ystum bach yn gallu newid diwrnod rhywun.
